The Wisconsin Society for Ornithology is one of the foundational partners of Wisconsin Breeding Bird Atlas II. WSO funded eBird’s pioneering launch of the Wisconsin Atlas portal and hosts the Atlas website with its photo gallery, handbook and other resources. With its longstanding mission to promote the enjoyment, study and conservation of Wisconsin’s birds, WSO brings birders together to protect our state’s birdlife.

If you enjoyed the sense of community you experienced while Atlasing and are not yet a member of WSO, please consider joining the state’s largest birding organization. Membership is just $40 a year. We are stronger together.
