All email contact
To make sure your email is received by the BirdSleuth staff, please be sure to:

• address your e-mail to jms327@cornell.edu
• include a subject heading appropriate for the topic of your e-mail.
• remove any attachments. Because of increasing virus threats, we cannot accept any email with an attachment.

If your email requires an answer:

• please make sure any email-blocking software on your system is set to accept email from the "cornell.edu" extension, otherwise our response will not get through.
• please be patient. We have a small staff, but we will do our best to respond in a timely manner.

Technical issues
If you are experiencing technical issues, please include the following information in your email:

• your Username (especially if you are sending e-mail from an address different from the one you registered with).
• your computer and operating system (e.g., PC, Windows 2000; Mac, OS X).
• browser and version (e.g., Internet Explorer 5.5, Netscape Navigator 6.2).
• a complete description of the problem or error message. Please be as precise as possible. Include the text of any error message, and a description of what you were doing, or trying to do, when you received the message.
